Chandu looks really desperate to win this one.
Well, I knew first and third.
nobody took interest apart from ajay, so i was the only person to participate, hihihi, naturally came first))) thats why happy and excited!!! never came first in life
ICC: Congrats ICC..after multiple attempts and sole participation you are the winner.Let me know your choice or i do know..Mandrake 18,19,20....isn't it!!!!
Was the quiz that much tough for others to attempt or you were a bit quicker..!!
TPH: Yeah,Chandu did looked desperate to win even he was running alone.... :o)
TPH: I am anxious to know your view about quality of the articles of Deewana. Also i think no body noticed about the Phantom feature in the Deewana as nobody mentioned about it...
iam sorry i wud not have fit in these answers myself. At the most i can remember the cover(of comic) by the name easily. So sorry.
Talking of competitions once i and my friend were a witness to a running race contest.
There were 12 participants. As the race began,my friend curiously asked me what was happening. So i told him..."Hey,its a race yaar"
Friend."What kind of?"
Me.."Running race where athletes(runners)compete.
Friend"Then what happens?"
Me.."Then what, one of them wins the race"
Friend.."Ya?How many win?"
Me..."obviously..one yaar"
My friend was a little confused at this, scratched his head a bit and then as usual was very prompt in asking his next phenomenal question .
...I understand its a race,12 people are competing and one of then wins it..right?
Me.."Right"
My friend.."So if one of them wins it,why are all 12 running?"
ICC..congrats....Ajay,TPH...great effort.
CW.....thanks for creating such a nice little contest
Bahadur: Nice joke..but Chandan here the ICC was running alone..;o)...a nice example for your friend who was searching the logic in the race.
I would say they are ok. Such articles have a spontaneous value so may be not looking very appealing now. If someone had read them before may have more liking for them but I didnot get much chance to read Deewana, though I liked it whenever got an opportunity.
And I don't remembered about phantom being published in Deewana. Nice to notice that. Which story is this? looks good.
Hey friend, have u taken a note of this race?
Hope this answers all ur questions.
CW....looking forward to more such races oops..i mean more such posts in future.
Thanks.
TPH: Here i don't agree with you as i feel that Deewana's character such as Silbil-Pilpil etc still have the same humor
value/quality
as they used to have 20 years back, the only thing which i feel that a reader has to read quite a few of them before getting into the skin of these characters and before enjoying them fully..same as one has to be a bit familiar with Phantom before enjoying its true spirit.
By the way that Phantom story is "The Jungle Gold",No.363
Bahadur: I have much more in my mind and will be offering more of them in future posts..actually quizzes do attract me a lot and i love solving quizzes based on films/comics etc.
Dear all,i have been contemplating over this issue for quite a while now.
As i understand ,getting comics below 300 has become a great ask.Its next to impossible. So on a general note i was just thinking whether actually we can put Indrajal scans into physical copies sometime.its a thought big time and i know iam aiming in the dark but as always i want to make public what i feel.
if all of us,including all blogs come together and join in hundreds and thousands,it should be a dream come true for all of us.INDRAJALS as i understand are nothing short of GEMS and even to own them is a divine experience, truly speaking.
So please if anyone has any better thoughts pls come fwd and lets know about it.iam sure all blogs wud readily agree, what remains to be seen is whether more INDRAJAL fans sprout up or not.
Remember more the no.,lesser will be the cost and GOD willing if we manage to put into practice,it will be a revolution of its owN kind.
i urge all viewers to atleast share a thought on this.
Thanks
CHANDAN
Bahadur: Very thoughtful and nice idea...if more of us can agree then we can 'reproduce' those below No.300 IJC among ourself.
I request all of Indrajal lover, those who wish to have these vintage comics on paper,to come forward and raise their hands for this idea.
Sameer pls come forward and let us know the fact full details behind the realism of this dream, can it be fulfilled and if yes then what would be the cost etc.
