# 3rd Anniversary Post

Friends and comic lovers from all over the world,it gives me immense pleasure to welcome all of you at this memorable day which is the 3rd birthday/anniversary of this blog.
First of all let me thank my dear friend Comic Crazee for designing this fabulous header specially for Comic World's 3rd Anniversary post.Many-many thanks to him for this magnificent gift.
To start the celebrations, let me present another one of my dear and close friend Kuldeep Bhai who is eager to welcome all of you. Here are his words right away.

"Hello every one..My welcome greeting to you all and thanks everyone for joining us to celebrate another wonderful anniversary of this blog. This blog is not a website like millions others available on internet but it is a place where we see a pristine pond filled with warm memories of our childhood and we all want to jump to feel the old days when we were care free, pure hearted and dreamed to do something big.. Welcome all.. jump and feel the joy, happiness and lets promise ourselves that we will keep on filling this pond with our thoughts, appreciation, knowledge sharing, old memories so that more and more will be joining us in coming days to make this place the only 'mecca'/'Kumbh' of Comics world .. On this blog we have seen so many wonder ful post(Sholay,Hindi novels, satyakatha, bal pocket books, comics artist, writers....).. so many old thoughts ('par-tilli' , comics reading in Lantern light, efforts took to get comics...) we met so many wonder ful people who have such vast knowledge on comics, collection and we learned a lot about comics, comic culture ,reading habits in India and around the world. So much have been shared, posted so far and amazing part is that ' we want more' what best could happen to this blog other than this that instead of quenching the fire it is making it more and more big like adding more fuel (with every new post.) we have shown our appreciation to 'Zaheer bhai' so many time and on this occasion I salute his great work again on behalf of all of us and congratulate him again on 3rd anniversary of 'Comic world'.
Lage raho Zaheer bhai ... and Yes.. ALL IZZZ WELL.. keep it rolling.. Have a wonder ful time friends.. Kuldeep

As you all know about Kuldeep Bhai that he is living encyclopedia of comics,he has vast-vast treasure of knowledge and nostalgic moments attached with comics which he regularly keeps on sharing with all of us in his unique and unmatched style of words of which we all are fond of.If topic comes about Ved Prakash Sharma then he is simply unmatched and a living data base of his novels...simply mind blowing...i have never seen a passionate comic reader and lover as he is....and talking about his human side,he is a good human and friends of friend. How many of us can send quite a costly comics to a person with whom we don't have that much of 'terms' and acquaintance and that also without expecting any thing in return!!!Truly,a most humble attitude which is highly appreciated.
Kuldeep Bhai, many thanks for your kind and warm feeling toward this blog,i hope to see you all along with this blog like you are.As a small token of gift here is that ad page of unpublished novel of Ved Prakash Sharma which you were looking for.Hope you will like it.

# Tarzan with Heere Ka Chirag

Col.Worobu and Kuldeep, here are your requested comics, scanned, cleaned, compressed and posted in result of your cordial requests.
Col. this Tarzan is not a Indian Edition but its appearance is quite similar to Indian 'Kiran Comics'.Its illustrations are of high quality as well as story too.
Kuldeep,'Heere Ka Chirag' is the reprinted version of its original in 'Old is Gold' series in which Manoj Comics use to republish old hit issues but without their original covers which took away the charm from them as covers by C.M.Vitankar were a joy to watch.Anyway the inside story by Chatterji is same and is quite entertaining.Hope you will enjoy it once again.

#Comic No.136 & 137:Munshi Premchand

Munshi Premchand(Dhanpatrai,1880-1936) is no doubt the best Hindi and Urdu writer whose stories and novels represent the emotions and mentality of true India. His theme of stories and writing skills are unmatched and beyond compare with anybody as his story telling ability was interesting, simple and having words from day to day conversation.
His stories mainly depicted the problems of ordinary peasants and common man such as corruption, communalism, debt, poverty etc in a very simple and effective language. Before Premchand Indian story telling was confined mainly to King-Queen and fantasy sort of stories,it was he who brought the canvas of his stories to the problems of common man and ground realities.
His work was also appreciated in film industry and quite a few movies were made on his stories/novels such as "Mazdoor(1934),Seva Sadan(1938),Gaban(1966),Godan(1963),
Shantranj Ke Khiladi(1977)".
Gaurav Gatha publications acknowledged his work by rendering out a comic on him, which is being presented here. His stories can be read online from a blog devoted specially on him,Munshi Premchand blog.

#Comic No.97:Atul Comics

This comic is posted specially on Anupam's request, hope he will like it.It is one of the comic among many of the lesser know Indian comic series,it is the very 1st issue of its publication which was started somewhere in mid 90's.How many issues was published and up till when its information is not available. If someone is having any information about it please share for the sake of Anupams's project on Indian comic history.
The storyline of this comic is very much similar to Tantri-Mantri of Tinkle where a courtier of King is always busy in hatching plans to dethrone the King and take his place, but his plans used to get failed every time due to circumstances without revealing his true intentions to the King.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas for my friends, visitors and all. Many thanks to Ciro for a excellent art work again.
I have forgotten to put up this post yesterday or day before it so i have to come specially for it.
....And wow what i find here when i came again....i was really enjoying the ongoing bout of confirming 'identities'.....

ICC i am sorry that last time i forgot to enable comment moderation due to which again some unrequired post has beed posted here,as i said earlier i won,t allow CW to become a dice for ugly dancing hence from now comment moderation is being enabled till the things seems to settle down alongwith deletion of 'unrequired' comments.

Talking about Ravi i only endorse one of his comment which was about 'shops',....yeah,i agree that due to great work by Ajay/Prashant and others atleast my shop was running...but the point is that was the shop being ran for ourself!!..no.the shop was/is being ran for all the comic lovers.

Ravi and the people,if any, who are sensing a opportunity to settle old scores alongwith this controversy they should understand that no body is interested to find out who is wrong or who is right as nobody has time or interest for it.So better everybody should understand and let the sanity prevails again.

Chandan as i have already expressed my feelings for you in CWs previous post so you need not to worry about others misguided misconcept about you.For me atleast you are the person with golden heart for whom CW would be living as long he can. Continue Reading »

1000 hits....

Well, well more than 1000 hits within less than a month..this is really inspirational. Its time now to say thanks to some motivators..When the 1st post was posted on 4th feb. it was nowhere in my mind tht it will touch 1000 hits within a month..it shows the magic of indrajal comics, which we all love.
This blog site was started with a purpose behind to share the comics with all other Indrajalians as being a Indrajal lover i myself was in search of these timeless comics on net..other comics such as asterix, archies etc were easily available but cudn't find any site devoted to indrajal in 1st few attempts..later when TCP was discovered my joy find no bounds..yeah this was the thing which i was searching..after downloading the comics which i was not having a idea came to me that why not a similar site be started where i can share comics of my collection with all other Indrajalians so that all comic lover now can b able to access more comics from the two sites. However first i thought of to contribute scans to TCP itself but when i came to know through comments on TCP that there are contributors in waiting line then i dropped the idea as to be in que just for contributing comic seems to be a funny one.
Recently i was owning a PC and also subscribed for broadband..then after with many experiments, hit and trials finally managed to prepare blogs in required format for posting..and the show began..however experimenting is still going.
All this just started to share nostalgic feelings of childhood which then developed into sharing comics with other phantom, mandrake fans but to sustain the work smoothly one needs constant encouragement and inspiration from viewers..and this is provided through your comments which keeps the fire blazing within our heart..so viewers keep on commenting as your comments proves our work of some worth.
