I am 2nd.:-)
It is really such a gripping adventure. Could have easily been the golden-jubilee issue as someone suggested sometime ago. But now I expect something even bigger for eagerly awaited 50th post.
Great job CG(as ever). Thanks a lot.

Shud I give the answers???

Hahaha ....No! I think ,so early it'll b spoil-sport....let's see how many fans give replies currectly! :-))

P.S.- I've NO idea abt that sacking of Samaria artist!:-(

Well, I am uncertain over one answer. But these are my bet:

(1) Earlier it was said that 3rd phantom married an Indian maharaja's daughter but later stories say it was 4th phantom while 3rd actually married an actress from Shakespeare's family.
(2) 9th phantom.
(3) Does it have to do with him showing the eyes of phantom under the mask in the mentioned comic (Samaris)?
(4) There is some confusion over this one. IJC #V24N14 The legendary heroes (1987) says Kit first met Diana when he was 12 and she 9 but IJC #317 The Phantom Weds (1979) opens with "He first met diana when she was 8". That makes our phantom's age 11 (taking an age difference of 3 yrs).
(5) 8th phantom.
(6) March 1964.
(7) 41 issues.
(8) #123 and #124 in 1970.
(9) Total 803 issues were actually published.
(10) In one of the stories of special issue of IJC #49 The Secrets Of the Phantom (1967). The story title is rex king.

Now one related question from me: The samaris story was later reprinted in two parts by indrajal with different art work. Can anyone give issue numbers?

CG: Waiting eagerly for your next post (and answers of course). Shouldn't there be some prize for max. no. of correct answers, like fulfilling the request on priority? Another thing. On the occasion of 50th post, what about having a pole for favourite post so far, with reason. Should make interesting read.

Satish: CG is an amazing person as we all know and have experienced. Its a fact not requiring repetetion again and again. I have already thanked him in all suitable ways. Meanwhile, strange word you used 'competetion'. Please let me make few things clear. I am nowhere near any of these big-time bloggers like CW/ICC/TCP/Bala. My sole purpose is to share with all, whatever little I can. What objection can anyone have if the frequency of Indrajal posts increases by doing so? The future of my blog depends upon the reception.

mozz, col, chandan, ajit, simply, atma, ravi: Satish is right in saying that the blog looks incomplete without CGs comments. In fact I miss the comments from all of you. I know no body can refrain from visiting this place, but not putting regular comments makes the spot like a favourite picnic place without having your mates. Plz drop a few lines more often.

#TPH:Yeah,i agree with your suggestions also i will like to see more no. of visitors going for the quiz..meanwhile it seems thats guys are more interested in reading rather than brain storming...:o)
There is no such place of word like 'competition' here as all of us share a common motive and that is just to share what we have so that those blissful moments of childhood can be cherished and secondly comic lover can have access to these timeless comics easily which are otherwise difficult to access in paper form.
Personally i would like to see more interactions between all of us and that can be achieved by discussions over the comics posted, sharing our feeling and nostalgic moments over that particular comic, creating and participating in trivia and quizzes..thus having more interactions in a forum form will certainly bring more fun and interest and will add to variety and novelty to the blog.

Iam so sorry,CW and TPH if i have hurt your sentiments.Infact nothing on purpose. You can say ,a slip of the mind.
It was just that I was appreciating CW because it goes all out to help everyone.
And why should I think of offending ?Iam but just a humble viewer with nothing to offer. In fact you guys are giving us a wonderful reason to live and I'll say this a hundred times.
I fact I feel so guilty,but I hope I have cleared my view.I apologise.

Right,CW and TPH,here Iam.Thanks,I missed you too.
Actually I wasn't feeling quite well these days. Also,I was hunting for these comics like mad after having tried every nook and corner.
Just managed to get hold of about 2.Well Iam from Goa and here ,Iam afraid, comics have become extinct.
If anybody knows any whereabouts about these, please let me know.
I'll be greatly obliged.
And thanks CW,for running this wonderful train with wonderful passengers called 'INDRAJAL COMICS'.
Waiting more eagerly than ever for your next post.Thanks.
